IN Canada we have limits for sulfites used as additives in food
Canadian regs::2,500 p.p.m. calculated as sulphur dioxide - Does US have similar requirements ? if they do , can you point me to the right regulation/ reference?

Thanks you guys
I have product (dried fruit) bound for USA with over 3500ppm in sulphites- just don't want to run into issue at the borders. In Canada I would return this to supplier.
It is labelled as having sulphites in the ingredients
