Dear All,

We have done the FDA registration through an agent and got a FDA registration number, so I would like to know the procedure to check the certificate authenticity whether its is genuine or not.

would be appreciated if anyone could give your suggestions and comments in this regard.

looking forward to getting a valid feedback for the same .

Regards,

Joel John.

The FDA doesn't give a certificate, I've only known state departments to do so. If you have a registration with FDA, you should have an id and pin number to log into your FDA account on the FDA website.

We have a foreign customer asking for proof and not accepting our guarantee of registration on company letterhead. Any recommendations on how to abate their concern? We have sent a copy of our most recent FDA and state audit.

svnh,

  • Take the FDA proof page (the final auth page that everyone prints and puts on file) and redact (BLACK SHARPIE) anything that could be sensitive. Have two people go over it in depth preferably, there is your FDA # and your Pin# on this page, you do NOT want that out there.

OR

  • Inform the customer that your corporation provided them with what it considers acceptable and they can take it or leave it.

Both options have pro/cons. Option 1 still gives them a piece of official documentation that they could misuse (but without your fda# and pin# it would be difficult). It should be self evident what could happen going with option 2.
