Where else should you hang them? Weird!
Our hanger has them such that they are a little out from the wall, so no direct contact with the wall. But if the wall is clean??? What is their problem??
Can you state the exact working and which claus they refer to.

Hi wgazaille,
That is a strange one ![]()
The only situations I can imagine this being a problem is if the wall is in poor condition/unsuitable or it was the wrong equipment hung on the wall, for example cleaning equipment of the wrong color code or floor cleaning equipment being stored with food contact cleaning equipment on the same rack.
As AJL posted, I suggest you state the exact wording and which clause they refer to.
Kind regards,
Tony

I have heard of this before, the issue is likely that the tools were allowed to make contact with the wall, leading to the risk of cross or re contamination
Were they hung over something?
Please stop referring to me as Sir/sirs

As a result of SQF AUDIT, we were given a non conformance for hanging cleaning brushes and squeegee on the wall. All hangers were fabricated out of stainless steel.
Never heard that hanging cleaning utensils on the wall was unacceptable.
Any thoughts or comments?
I've run into incidents involving hanging product contact items up in locations deemed unacceptable. Ours boiled down to what the surface behind the hanging items was made of or what condition it was in -- it needed to be clean / cleanable before the items were placed.
